We don’t always find these particularly helpful (who wants to scroll through an unorganized list of somebody else’s questions, amiright?), but we’re hoping at least one of you does! We will be diligent in adding any questions posed to us, and also do you all a solid in keeping them categorical. So please, if something doesn’t make sense to you, it likely does not for someone else, either. You can ask it of the group using the Comments Section at the bottom of most pages (someone may even beat us to an answer!) or click on our Wedding Monogram below the puppies if you need to ask a question directly (this link can also be found on the We Have Contact! page). As usual please allow 24 hours for the server to update. Thank you!

Regarding The Website…
What can I do to improve the layout on a mobile or small-screened device?
We have found that viewing is best in a landscape-style mode. Rotating your device helps a bit.
You could additionally set your viewing mode to “Desktop” instead of using the “Mobile” setting:
Step 1:
Oh No! This sux! It’s all bunched up! ~ [Tap the “Hamburger” Icon]

Step 2:
I can’t see where it is! ~ [Scroll down and check the box]

Step 3:
Whew! That was easy! ~ [Return to your browser by tapping outside the menu]

How else can I improve the website layout?
Due to its landscape design, using a laptop or other wide-screen device is best. Additionally, the Chrome or Firefox browsers are optimized to interpret the code most effectively. If these solutions do not fix any issues you might experience, you can reach out to WebMaster Aster using the contact form.
How does the online realm I have entered work exactly? It feels like everything keeps changing….
You may initially feel a bit like Dorothy in the Land of Oz, because despite looking every which way, there is no place that says how to get home! If you end up straying too far off the Yellow Brick Road and forgot your ruby slippers, don’t fret. Clicking on the website title or site logo in the upper-left hand corner will bring you straight back. They look like this (kind of):
There are basically three tiers of information that are available to you based on your preferences, desires, and willingness to explore and engage with the website.
In the first tier, you can view a functional degree of information without logging in if you do not plan to attend any wedding events, but it’s not much fun or of much use beyond declining. The benefit here is that one does not have to get extensively involved in something that is not compatible with or agreeable to them in some way.
In the second tier, if you are at all unsure about attending, our recommendation would be to create a profile by submitting the RSVP form and selecting “Can Neither Confirm or Deny” in the Events Details section. This allows the creation of a profile which accesses a small handful of pages that are designed to help you make an informed decision, but still, this will not reveal all of the wonder that awaits! More specifically, the login profile allows for the capability of attaching full-scale access based on the events in which you intend to participate.
Please note that once you submit the RSVP form, it may take up to 24 hours for our servers to attach full website access to your profile. We thank you for your patience.
Once our servers catch up, you’ll find that at Tier 3 the website will BLOSSOM! The most important aspects of our shared journeys will be listed on the My Wedding Events page. Be sure to become familiar with everything there, as further information will be necessary to enrich your in-person experience of the Sidraya Constellation of Events.
Admittedly, the realm at times does not work as it should, and may not always render properly. You may find that things look differently if you leave and return to a page. We’ve found that simply refreshing the page often solves this anomaly, but it does start to feel like Wonderland at times!
What would be helpful to know about basic site navigation? Are there commonalities or is each page unique in how it functions?
The Main Navigation Menu is static (never changes), and positioned in the header (top) of each page. Hovering over the arrow to the right of each menu item will reveal a drop-down list, identifying the names of pages that are contained within it, and clicking on them will take you there. Keep in mind that not every navigable page is visibly identified in the drop-down menu list!
Additionally, there are slight variations in the navigation for each page. Mostly you can keep scrolling down, but depending on the amount of information shared on the topic being addressed, you may have to scroll left or right in a slider, click on arrows to reveal additional drop-downs (like this FAQ), or notice small groupings of numbers in the lower left corner of a section, indicating that there are more relevant pages to explore! Icons (mostly sage green with a dark blue background) are also fairly prevalent, and may take you to different pages despite appearing similar, or point back to the same page despite displaying a different symbol! Don’t worry, it will all make sense when you get there. Just pretend that you are on Shakedown Street (you just gotta look around!), and you’ll be Pheeling Phine! 🙂
One consistency that you will find are the Comment Sections at the bottom of most pages (but above the footer), where you can get in contact with any of the invited guests! In other words, you’re not alone on this explorative journey! We encourage you to lean on your Sidraya Community by asking questions, sharing answers, contributing anecdotes or thoughts about what you read… ~ whatever might cross your mind that you think might be helpful or humorous! You can start a new discussion or respond to any of the comments that you see, but you must be logged in to do so. You can either add to these as you come across them, or find them chronologically ordered on the Sidraya Chatline page. They do drop off after 30 days, so keep a close eye and jump in while you can!
How is the Main Menu structured?
As you have likely already noticed, there is a strong celestial theme throughout the website’s images, information, and word usage. This is tied to the Bride and Groom’s strong beliefs around our species’ infinite search for meaning and purpose as human beings on Earth, in the recognition that our Souls are divined of unimaginable capabilities and merely wrapped in layers of vibracious matter (anchored at the present moment on a miraculously-positioned celestial jewel), that one day, being released from the confines of these vessels, will rejoin inexplicably in a dimension that could be light-years away or overlapping with our current one (or both!), undetectable due to the limitations of the space~time in which we dwell. But more on that later.
What is easier to convey for now is that the website is designed to be a reflection of the parallel universe that exists in and around us, without our agreement, denial, or even awareness, eternally producing questions whose answers we are incapable of understanding. There are pages within pages, and worlds within worlds. As humans we know that Black Holes exist, and we have some pretty decent theories that define their functions, but what exactly they are, what purpose they serve, or who/what created them, are and will continue to be mysteries for eons after we are all gone from here. Similarly, our website has portals (wormholes) that connect to a page you couldn’t have known existed until you are there, and certainly contains elements that exist right in front of you and which hold limitless and unpredictable possibility, yet you are incapable of their detection in your current time and space. How much of it that is revealed to you is directly correlated with your interest and efforts to interact with it. It is our divine hope that you unlock all of its mysteries, and exponentially add to your humour, benefit, and curiosity along the way.
What would be helpful to know about site engagement? How is it tied to my real-world experience?
Even though we cannot see each other yet, we all currently exist on the same plane. The Earth continues to turn, and the website will continue to expand as each reflects their shared experiences, decreasing the anonymity of their existence. What you pour in online will in unknown wonders manifest in the physical world when you attend! Yours will be opportunity for kinship, friendship, employment, and who knows? Maybe even Love! The strength in our coming together lies in learning the qualities that we each possess. You may not know everyone who will be there right now, but WE know that everyone invited is of genuine and caring heart, with strengths and qualities both known and unknown by all. On this day, we celebrate not only our lifelong commitment to come together in both body and spirit, but the people who contributed towards and allowed for who we became in body and spirit. Why not use this newfangled interweb for its intended purpose, to come together when separated by time and distance? Why should the good in one miss out on the good that we see in another? Namaste, each and every one of you!
How is the content structured?
If it helps, you can explore a description of what lies behind each of the Main Menu items by clicking on each in turn (bypassing the drop-down), which brings you to a descriptive landing page (the hub, if you will). There, you will come to understand some or most of what to expect (again, depending on topic), and for the remainder of your time between now and our wedding, are free to explore our universe as we have defined it. Where you go, and what to do with it, will remain entirely out of anyone’s control but your own.
If I check out the website now, I probably won’t need to look at it again until the wedding, right?
This website is designed to be fluid and will be updated as we are able to solidify our wedding decisions (you didn’t think we already had this whole thing figured out, did you?). There will definitely be changes that you will want to be aware of and updates that will require your feedback, especially if you are going to be involved in the Wedding Ceremony in any way. We will do our best to notify specific people at crucial points, but please check back frequently to be in the know! The Wedding 411 page will continue to be updated with significant changes in the coming months, but by early June we will have all decisions finalized so that everyone can enjoy the final weeks leading up to the wedding.
Do I need a Google Account for this?
The short answer is NO. We debated at length about whether to require Google Accounts for the Login (entire website), or try to be as discerning as we could to more greatly respect everyone’s privacy. While it would have been much easier on the back end when it came to the aggregation of data, we did not feel that should take precedence over privacy, nor would it be to everyone’s pleasure to force an account simply to RSVP if they did not already have one. Instead, we avoided this where we could by limiting Google’s requirements to optional aspects of the website. That said, having one does have its advantages: you are able to participate in all of the website features, and can return to any forms without having to re-type your responses. In this way, people can choose whether they want to create/use a Google account (for increased ease, value, and entertainment) or not (and still not miss out on TOO much of the fun). While this leaves the door open for mischievous usurpers to get around SOME aspects of the website, we felt that with careful tracking we could avoid a mess and still be fair to everyone. Fortunately, WebMaster Aster agreed to monitor all of this for us (you better believe HE knows what to look for!), and Procyon volunteered to serve as Enforcer if things get out of hand. So please, play fair and have fun! We love him, but NOBODY wants Procyon at the wedding! 😉
You don’t have to have a Google Account to use this website… BUT IT HELPS!
What do I need to be looking for in terms of links? How do I know where to go?
Most links are easily identifiable icons, but underlined text is also fairly common. Hovering over these will change your pointer, and the web page address will show in the lower left of the page. To add to the mystique, there are also a few smaller links hidden around the website, but clues have been left that, when solved, will reveal their location.
I’m stuck! How do I talk to whoever’s in charge?
If you need to send a private message to the doomed -er- dazzling couple for any reason, you can do so through the form found on the We Have Contact! page under the Wedding 411 dropdown. We’re here for you in all the ways! Just remember that’s Contact, not Comments. Who will be first to mix it up? Certainly not you!
Regarding The Ceremony…
Is the dress code thing really that strict? What if it’s hot, can we not wear shorts?
We grant that the weather is likely to be hot, and desire for our guests to be comfortable while participating in/viewing the Ceremony and other events. However, we would prefer that everyone contribute to the wedding atmosphere by looking their best. Without checking visas or passports, we would have no way of knowing whether the wearing of a kilt would be cultural appropriation or the honoring of one’s heritage, therefore it would be a suitable substitute for anyone with these concerns. Otherwise, we will be happy to adorn you with zinc oxide and one of these dapper accessories to cover your shame, if you insist on coming to a semi-formal event looking like you just stepped poolside, you heathens. 🙂

When/Where is this thing even being held?
The Ceremony is taking place in
Grants Pass, OR 97527 at 5 PM on June 26th, 2026, but the grounds will be open at 4 PM.
